Wicked is the mama-bear type. She's fierce and independent and damn well better get her way or else she's going to throw a hissy fit. When someone she cares about is in trouble, she rushes in full force to help them, no matter what the consequences.

She can be extremely brash, even insulting, because she doesn't think before she speaks. So things that should never leave her mouth tend to tumble out. She also just doesn't care what anyone thinks of her, which doesn't go a long way towards making lifelong friends. Wicked's an adrenaline junkie and will try anything at least once. Which means that she's constantly putting herself in danger. Probably because she's not afraid of death.

+ Wicked is extremely obsessed with anything supernatural. It's not odd to find her performing seances or playing with tarot cards.
+ She's very unsure of her religious affiliation. Clearly, some sort of energy exists after death, but Wicked is not sure if there is an afterlife.
+ She has a number of tattoos and piercings, something she got done while living at home in order to annoy her parents.
+ Her hair isn't naturally black; it's a medium brown, but she religiously dyes it midnight black.
+ Wicked is very pro-mutant rights.
+ She's also very loudmouthed about the above fact.

history »

Alicia Andrews was born in Genosha, a small island off the coast of South Africa, to very, very normal parents. Always the rebel, the moment she was able to get her hands on a pair of scissors, black nail polish, enough black clothing and a box of black hair dye, she was rocking the goth look.

Her parents were not pleased.

Interested in anything occult from a young age, Alicia declared herself a Wiccan by the age of 12, nearly giving her Christian parents a heart attack. And, the more Alicia's rebelious antics kept up -- sneaking out, drinking, smoking -- the more her parents began to treat her like a problem child.

And the more Alicia began to act like a problem child.

When she was 14, she had a major blowout with her family, slamming the door on the last words she ever heard her mother say: "You wicked, wicked--"

By the time Alicia returned home, she found the police on the doorstep and they informed her that the Andrews' had been killed in a car accident. One that happened, no doubt, while they were out looking for Alicia.

Scared of the threat of foster care, Alicia took off, fending for herself. Which was fine, until she scared the bejesus out of herself when she was approached by two ill-mannered hooligans in an alley one night. Apparently, she wasn't the first person they'd attacked with the intention to murder in this alley, because she unknowingly brought up the necroplasmic residue of a number of people, which she was able to use to attack the men.

Followed around by spirits wherever she went, and accidentally picking up residue wherever she went, Alicia changed her name, feeling that the fact that not only was she a mutant but she was a mutant who could call forth the dead meant that her mother had been right about her.

She was Wicked.

Eventually, she ended up in the United States (San Francisco to be exact) falling in with some street performers... mostly showing off with parlor tricks that scared the crap out of flatscans. It kept a roof over her head and kept her stomach full.

That was where she was found by the Brotherhood, which she's been running with since.

powers & skills »

Wicked has the ability to summon necroplasmic residue left behind by the death of living beings and manifest them as ghost-like entities to do her bidding. The psychic manifestations she summons are transparent and float about like traditional ghosts. They also possess the ability to become tangible or intangible upon Wicked's will. She has an empathic link with the apparitions, feeling their pain if they are wounded. Fortunately, she can incorporate others into the empathic link she shares with her apparitions to ease the pain or experience the same sensory input her ghosts are experiencing.
